We had a fantastic stay at a beautifully restored house with lots of character. The house was much bigger than we expected from the photos. Paula, the host, was friendly and helpful when she handed us the keys. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute drive from a charming town where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. Despite some minor drawbacks such as a low door frame and unreliable Wi-Fi, we had a cozy and comfortable experience. I highly recommend this place for a unique and enjoyable stay.

Friendly host, English-speaking, provided breakfast. Excellent stay with kind and accommodating host. Three bedrooms, tight stairs, extra living space. Cosy house, family-friendly, big room, clean bathroom, working amenities. Fantastic restored house with character, larger than expected. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location.

The room at Comenda Da Povoa was amazing! It felt like a cozy home away from home. The bathroom was clean and had all the toiletries I needed. The kitchen had everything I could ask for, including a microwave, fridge, kettle, and even a coffee machine. The balcony was a nice touch and I enjoyed watching movies with the DVD player. I felt comfortable and had everything I needed for a fantastic stay.
Personally, I found the presence of a microwave in all units a bit repetitive. But hey, I get that some people might find it convenient, so it's just my opinion.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was very quiet and peaceful, situated in a charming village just 15 minutes away from the city. The spacious bedroom and well-equipped kitchen were perfect for our needs. We also appreciated the reserved parking space, as it made coming and going very convenient. The water temperature and pressure in the shower were excellent, ensuring a comfortable experience. The staff, particularly Jose, were very good too assist us. He provided us with clear directions to the hotel and even arranged a taxi for us to go into town for dinner. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, parking, and helpful staff made our stay enjoyable.
Absolutely nothing.

Free bikes, flat-screen TV and free WiFi, what more could a posh lady like me ask for? The continental breakfast was a delightful touch.
Oh, just a small inconvenience, there was no Wi-Fi, but who needs it on holiday, right? So rustic!

We had an excellent stay at this cozy accommodation. The host was very kind and accommodating, suggesting local restaurants and sharing interesting stories about the area. The spacious bedrooms and extra living space provided plenty of room for our family. The house itself was beautifully renovated with traditional style, and there was a nice river beach just a short drive away. a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a quiet location.
There were a couple of minor downsides to our stay. The beds were a bit worn and could use new mattresses for better comfort.

The accommodation was good for the price, clean, and the landlord was helpful. It was a small village close to where we had dinner. Good for a stopover during a long journey.
The door frame was too low, my tall husband hit his head twice. the ceiling on the second floor was low, and I hit my head several times.

The rooms in Comenda Da Povoa were so cozy and comfortable! We loved the fully equipped private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. It made us feel at home and pampered. The kitchen, complete with a microwave, fridge, kettle, oven. Plus, having a balcony to relax on was a wonderful bonus.
The only thing that we liked less was that all units come with a microwave. But hey, that's just our personal preference.

Stayed in a charming chalet with a cozy patio, enjoyed the free bikes and continental breakfast. Went hiking and fishing nearby. Quite a delightful experience.
Who needs accurate Wi-Fi and a comfortable couch? Definitely not me.
